UPCOMING WARMACHINE EVENTS

•  Saturday April 7. Hordes Domination presented by the D-Ville Wardes. It'll be at the Morrisons  Cove Memorial Park. 201 S Walnut St, Martinsburg, PA 16662 . Charles will be running it.
• Saturday April 14. 35 pt. Steamroller at The Vault. You must bring two lists. No character restrictions. Your opponent will choose which list that you use each game. Death clock will be used. Charles is running it.
•  Saturday May 26. 35 pt. Steamroller at The Vault. Death clock. Weather effects will be used. For example there is one with fog that reduces LOS to five inches. There is one that I believe causes the battlefield to be muddy reducing SPD and taking away pathfinder. Charles is running it. No character restrictions.
• Saturday June 30. The big one. 50 pt. tier 4 trophy tourney at The Vault. Character restriction is in effect. Death clock. Les is running it. Thus far twelve people have pre-registered.

HOLD ON TO HOPE

As you grow up you always think your family will always be there... until something like cancer hits close to home. Then all you can do is "Hold On To Hope".

Holding on to hope is what Audrey Pounds-Montgomery is doing while she puts up a fight against Carcinoid Ca...ncer and neuroendocrine tumors or NET's. After raising two boys you would imagine that you would be trained to fight anything that was sent your way. But Carcinoid Cancer was one of those fights she never saw coming. Since carcinoid cancer has a slow growth rate compared to other cancers, it usually takes many years before they become sizable or cause symptoms to be detected. Early detection is a challenge due to the slow growth of the NET's. 

Never the less she must have done something right because while she fights from the inside out with doctors that are trying there best on this cancer that is in need of research, her son (one or our own local Zumba Fitness Instructors) Dustin Jewell fights the financial end by holding this event. We all know treatments are costly and not always covered by insurances, and travel to and from hospitals itself is a headache on its own.

 

So Dustin ''Holds On To Hope'' while organizing what could potentially be a blast for all who attend. Taking part in such and event not only sets you up for your own challenge to step toward health and fitness, but you also help out a great cause. He is gathering up some of the most energetic instructors from the local and surounding areas to turn up the heat for what might be one of the areas hotest (90) minutes classes yet. So take a step toward hope and help out yourelf and someone else during the "Hold On To Hope" Benefit.

So its a 35 pt event, I have not seen if the event is going to have special rules or not (for anyone who’s played in one of these before you should remember that there is usually a special scenario thats used all day to win.)

I assume it will be a normal Steamroller formant with a special scenario, will will post what it is once I find out. I am trying to get the coin kit for this, there supposed to be faction coins.

I'll be running the Hordes Genesis event, is just like the Resurgence one for Warmachine (rules: http://privateerpress.com/become-par...esis-this-july).

I will try to order the coin kit for the Hordes factions, warmachine players are welcome to play but the only coin they can win would be overall winner.

Also, for time purposes we'll be doing 25, 35 & 50 pts.

Cost is $10 to enter

Start Time will be 1 pm.

Dark Day, Ill Omens Megabattle - Greensburg, PA

PG Saidin invites you to come to Greensburg, PA on October 30.

Dark Ascension approaches, and the 3 moons will align shining fully on the Iron Kingdoms. The smart and superstitious will be safely in there homes; The treacherous and power hungry will race to the focal pont as arcane power surges from the heavens. The day spells ill fortune to all, but some may walk away with great power from above.

Set during the current time line, this battle involves all of western immoren. The minions of the dragon father plan to tap into the of the heavens on this dark day. So the call goes out "Who will fight the forces of cryx?" "Who will grab power to waste all of immoren?"

I'm working up details, the only thing I can tell you for sure is that the models from the leagues can be played in this event. Next, there can be only one of each character model on the board total, so some characters will need to be drafted by each side. Also I'm looking for two teams.

Cryx (and maybe some merc/minions) vs everyone else.

I am requiring that the cryx team have all 3 Lich Lords on the battlefield. Please post if you are going to participate and what your going to play so you can be on a team. I'm currently planning this for October 30. I will end up charging for this event, money goes toward some type of food and then door prizes.
